Erica Cerra is a Canadian actress who was born on October 31, 1979. Her most famous role is the actor on Eureka which is a Syfy show. Cerra was born in Vancouver British Columbia of Italian descent. She was captivated by acting as young as eight years old and was featured in many commercials as a child. For a time she took a break from acting, but returned to it in 2001 at the age of 22. Vancouver Lifestyles Magazine named her among the top Vancouver's up-and coming actresses in 2005. Cerra had starred as Deputy Jo Lupo in Eureka a Syfy series that ran between 2006 and 2012. A music video for the Michael Buble track Save the Last Dance for Me was also released in the year 2006. Cerra is credited with prominent roles on several popular and critically acclaimed TV shows including Battlestar Galactica and The L Word. Cerra has also appeared in a variety of major film releases including Man About Town, with Ben Affleck & Rebecca Romijn and Blade:Trinity featuring Wesley Snipes. Cerras face and body were utilized as models for the character Ashley Williams in the Mass Effect franchise that includes video games. Her other guest starring roles are in Smallville The 4400 The Dead Zone Reaper Huff as well as Dead Like Me. Khondabi noted that she had been married Joey Scribner Howard, her love from high school, who works as a mechanical engineer in the energy utility sector. Khondabi stated that she as well as Joey met during their time at Greenwood Christian School and were friends for many years before they started dating as seniors in high school. Howard was a student at Irmo after graduating of Dutch Fork High School but the two Khondabi continued to be friends, and later started dating. Khondabi graduated in 2007 from Emerald High School and a student at the University of South Carolina with an undergraduate degree in broadcast journalism. As a student in the elementary grades I conducted educational interviews on our school's news show. I was also the anchor of the school's daily news headlines. Oakland Elementary, where I taught at the time, had an information program called WOAK. Khondabi states that after college, her first job as a news reporter the television channel was WAGT Augusta Georgia. Khondabi said that she worked as a reporter in Augusta Georgia for approximately six years. After Augusta I was a reporter as an anchor for WOWK on Charleston West Virginia and then Columbus Ohio.
